Tru Force Martial Arts Rockaway Beach has been proudly serving the  Rockaway Beach community since  2017 providing a challenging and safe training environment for adults and children. While martial arts training  creates a strong and fit physical self, the benefits of strengthening the mind and spirit are priceless.  We focus on  a disciplined and structured program where students learn how to defend themselves and gain the self-confidence that is needed more than ever in a time when violence and social media bullying has taken away from so many.

Sensei/Professor Tommy Garcia is a lifelong martial artist and former NASKA (North American Sport Karate Association) national champion. He has over 40 years experience in the martial arts and trained in over 10 different styles and systems, holding black belts in Tae Kwon Do, American Sport Karate, and holds a 1st degree black belt in BJJ under the legendary Master Renzo Gracie and world renowned MMA fighter Professor Ariel “Tarzan” Sexton.  Sensei Tommy is an instructor at the prestigious Renzo Gracie Academy in Brooklyn, NY and teaches every class at Tru Force, paying close attention to every student’s progress and goals.
